Inspiration Wake Up Crew As far back as I can remember I have enjoyed drawing and painting, as well as watching others doing the same. A kind of magic can be found in mimicking a process we find so astounding in nature, creating something out of nothing. As I grow older I feel a greater kinship with my Neolithic ancestors, those ancient people who painted on the walls and ceilings of caves, deep within the earth. Clearly, they wondered about things, felt anxious too and found it necessary to write it all down as best they could. Sound familiar?
Fear and wonder are at the core of the creative impulse, inspired by the
profound and unrelenting mystery of our existence. Creation in all its
varied forms appeals to the human mind. Art is a legacy of the
challenge put to our species long, long ago.
